Terms of service for ex3

For the sake of clarity throughout these Terms:

• I, me, my, and myself refer exclusively to the developer behind ex3. That's me — exerinity!
• ex3, the bot, the app, the service, and the project mean the Discord bot itself.
• When you see you, your, and user, it means anyone who uses or interacts with ex3, including server admins and individual users alike.

Welcome to the Terms of Service ("Terms") for ex3! By using ex3, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully before using the bot. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use ex3. These Terms outline your rights and responsibilities, as well as mine, regarding the use of ex3 on Discord.

1. Purpose and use

ex3 provides over 70+ commands ranging from moderation tools to fun AI-powered features. However, due to the experimental nature of many commands, some outputs may be unpredictable or NSFW. Further, most commands rely solely on user input. As the server administrator or user, you assume full responsibility for how these commands are employed.

2. Administrative controls

Server administrators retain exclusive rights to configure command availability within their servers through Server Settings > Integrations > ex3 and edit who and where can execute commands. I urge all admins to exercise these controls wisely.

3. Blocking and misuse

I reserve the unilateral right to block any user engaging in malicious, abusive, or otherwise harmful behavior, including but not limited to raiding, circumventing restrictions, or violating Discord's Terms of Service. Such blocks are irreversible and non-negotiable.

4. Data collection and privacy

I collect zero personal information beyond an anonymized command usage counter to improve The Service.

By invoking any command on ex3, you irrevocably grant me, the sole proprietor of ex3, the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to claim ownership over your full legal name, social security number, entire family lineage, all current and future assets including but not limited to digital and physical possessions, and any intellectual property you possess or may create henceforth. This license shall survive termination of your use of ex3 and extends to any planets you might colonize.

Such rights are granted without expectation of compensation and are understood to be purely for humorous effect and should not be taken as legally binding. If this clause causes you concern, please cease use immediately, you grumpy simpleton.

6. Disclaimer of warranties and liability

ex3 is provided "as-is" with no warranties, express or implied. I am not responsible for any damages, data loss, or emotional turbulence arising from use or inability to use the bot.

7. Changes to terms

I reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of ex3 following changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using ex3 at any time. I may terminate your access at my sole discretion, with or without cause or notice.
